Hot tubs were fabulous and very close to the campground.

The camp host was kind and available when I needed help even though it was after hours. When I called lady on the telephone, however, was not. I knew I was gonna be rolling in a little bit late, so I called beforehand requesting information namely, which campsite was mine. The person told me that I would get it when I was there even though I told her I would be there after eight. She said it was fine if I was little late and then it would be posted somewhere. There wasnt even a place to post it, so that was incorrect. It was not posted. She said they dont give them out until the day before or the day of. I was calling the day of and she still refused to give it to me. Her Words are polite, but her tone of voice was rude, rushed, condescending and uncaring. Like I had interrupted her had a good point in her book and she was pissed at me for the interruption. How dare I? So I awkwardly looked everywhere in about a mile radius for someplace that would be posted and found nothing. I finally intruded on the host after hours after asking directions to three different campers of where something could be posted. So the beginning beginning was awful. The actual campsite doesnt have bathrooms as I had already read from the review, but is a perfect distance from sol duc mineral waters and that was wonderful. Beautiful well maintained and organized I really liked Sol Duc. Beautiful area and lovely, easy hikes.

Beautiful area. My biggest complaint is the lack of basic needs at the campground. The area is huge, yet we were crammed together so tight, I could almost touch the campers next to us. Where we were camping, there was no bathroom not even an outhouse. No showers also. Only way to get clean was to purchase the hot spring pass to use the showers there. The hotsprings should be free to the people camping at that campground, especially since there are no bathrooms. We were lucky to have a camper, but basic amenities like a bathroom would have been appreciated. There was not even a dump station to empty the camper that you were expected to use for ALL your basic needs. There were a few people in tents and I felt bad for them. Bring your shovel since you may need to poop! This campground needs a major update!

It would be nice if the staff could clean the locker rooms once in a while.

Quite, at quiet time. Easy check in. Easy Set-up. I just wish that I had set it for 2 nights.
RV camping was a Parking lot.If you tent camped very nice sites. No hot showers unless you bought a ticket to the hot springs. Not what I would expect from MY National Park
We were very surprised to have hook ups in an NPS park and glad as the weather for the 3 days/2 nights was rainy and cool mostly. Going to Sol Duc hotsrpings outside and in the cool rain for $12 each was al real treat! As was on our ride out stopping at the "salmon demonstration" pull over and having the thrill of actually watching these amazing creatures leap up the cascades!
Sol Duc is a wonderful place and we come back often. The trail to the falls is relatively easy (.8 of a mile). Bring you rain gear; after all it's part of the rain forest and we made our hike in the rain as well, but it adds to the mystique of the region. The hot spring facility was uncrowded in this shoulder season (October) and we imbibed each of out three nights.
My only issue was that there was not a tag with our name on our reserved campsite. Because there is an RV park and a campground, it was confusing which spot was ours. Beautiful, beautiful area. But the campground is MUCH prettier than the RV park so if you can go without hookups, you should stay in the campground. There are spots in Loop B that will accommodate RV's. Be careful not to sign up for a spot that is too small. Be sure to see Sol Duc falls. Mink Lake hike is nice too.
Interesting campground. More like a gravel parking area but appears to have originally set up and wired for temporary housing. Not much privacy but walking distance to Sol du Hoc Resort. Trail follows Sol du Hoc River all the way to the falls which is very picturesque

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
