Good place to stop, great hiking and scenery, RV parking is TESLA EV compatible

Hot tubs were fabulous and very close to the campground.

The camp host was kind and available when I needed help even though it was after hours. When I called lady on the telephone, however, was not. I knew I was gonna be rolling in a little bit late, so I called beforehand requesting information namely, which campsite was mine. The person told me that I would get it when I was there even though I told her I would be there after eight. She said it was fine if I was little late and then it would be posted somewhere. There wasnt even a place to post it, so that was incorrect. It was not posted. She said they dont give them out until the day before or the day of. I was calling the day of and she still refused to give it to me. Her Words are polite, but her tone of voice was rude, rushed, condescending and uncaring. Like I had interrupted her had a good point in her book and she was pissed at me for the interruption. How dare I? So I awkwardly looked everywhere in about a mile radius for someplace that would be posted and found nothing. I finally intruded on the host after hours after asking directions to three different campers of where something could be posted. So the beginning beginning was awful. The actual campsite doesnt have bathrooms as I had already read from the review, but is a perfect distance from sol duc mineral waters and that was wonderful. Beautiful well maintained and organized I really liked Sol Duc. Beautiful area and lovely, easy hikes.

Beautiful area. My biggest complaint is the lack of basic needs at the campground. The area is huge, yet we were crammed together so tight, I could almost touch the campers next to us. Where we were camping, there was no bathroom not even an outhouse. No showers also. Only way to get clean was to purchase the hot spring pass to use the showers there. The hotsprings should be free to the people camping at that campground, especially since there are no bathrooms. We were lucky to have a camper, but basic amenities like a bathroom would have been appreciated. There was not even a dump station to empty the camper that you were expected to use for ALL your basic needs. There were a few people in tents and I felt bad for them. Bring your shovel since you may need to poop! This campground needs a major update!

It would be nice if the staff could clean the locker rooms once in a while.

Quite, at quiet time. Easy check in. Easy Set-up. I just wish that I had set it for 2 nights.

If staying at the RV campsite make sure your toilet is working or know there is no public bathrooms right there. You could walk to the resort which has hrs of operation or the loop campgrounds.

I like camping in the National and State Parks. But this campground, which was very expensive- $65 a night, was not a great experience. We arrived late at night and someone was camped in our site. There are no reservation tags on the sites. There are not hosts available to question. AND THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS! I know many RV's have bathrooms but our does not. The next morning I found out fm others that bathrooms were available at the next campground, but that information was not posted anywhere. When you pay $65 a night, you'd think there would at least be a port-a-potty available. I was disappointed.

I enjoy RV camping and soaking in the healthy waters of sol duc several times a year with like minded healthy people. Beat the crowd and soak early morning time slots: 8am to have clean hot water in soaking tubsThe river is great for wading and napping Friendly staff have a tough job in an isolated area. Thanks team sol duc .

We made our reservations thinking we were going to stay in a beautiful forested area. We reserved a electric/water RV spot. We ended up in a gravel parking lot! No privacy between campsites. The bathrooms were almost 1/4 mile away. The resort was very underwhelming. When we checked in, no one checked to ensure we were really supposed to be there. It was like anyone could have just parked and stayed. The bathrooms in the main resort building had no soap, no toilet seat covers and stunk horribly. The cost to use the hot springs was $18 per person for 90 minutes but I honestly dont think they monitored who came and went. The hot springs looked like a giant hot tub with a fountain in the center. Everything in the store was extremely overpriced. A simple t-shirt was $32 plus tax. The only nice part was the surrounding forest and many trials for hiking.
RV camping was a Parking lot.If you tent camped very nice sites. No hot showers unless you bought a ticket to the hot springs. Not what I would expect from MY National Park

We were very surprised to have hook ups in an NPS park and glad as the weather for the 3 days/2 nights was rainy and cool mostly. Going to Sol Duc hotsrpings outside and in the cool rain for $12 each was al real treat! As was on our ride out stopping at the "salmon demonstration" pull over and having the thrill of actually watching these amazing creatures leap up the cascades!

Sol Duc is a wonderful place and we come back often. The trail to the falls is relatively easy (.8 of a mile). Bring you rain gear; after all it's part of the rain forest and we made our hike in the rain as well, but it adds to the mystique of the region. The hot spring facility was uncrowded in this shoulder season (October) and we imbibed each of out three nights.

My only issue was that there was not a tag with our name on our reserved campsite. Because there is an RV park and a campground, it was confusing which spot was ours. Beautiful, beautiful area. But the campground is MUCH prettier than the RV park so if you can go without hookups, you should stay in the campground. There are spots in Loop B that will accommodate RV's. Be careful not to sign up for a spot that is too small. Be sure to see Sol Duc falls. Mink Lake hike is nice too.

Interesting campground. More like a gravel parking area but appears to have originally set up and wired for temporary housing. Not much privacy but walking distance to Sol du Hoc Resort. Trail follows Sol du Hoc River all the way to the falls which is very picturesque

Was expecting a little more for the RV campground - such as- a bit of privacy between the spaces - shrubs/plantings - something so you weren't just looking right into your neighbors rig.- paved surface to at least drive in on - we encounters 3 large boggy mud holes to maneuver through to reach our spot. Maybe instead of just refilling with a dirt/gravel mix over and over- pave the main open drive in/out space

I know this place got high reviews from most. My experience was not that great. The facilities are very, very small and they allow too many guest at a time. Booked massage, only to be told she was too busy and would not be able to do massage due to being overbooked. I prepaid 2 months in advance for this and had to wait 10 business days for reimbursement. The pools themselves, as stated are way overcrowded and filthy. I get its a natural spa, but the pools had obviously not been cleaned in a VERY long time. The tent campsite is nice but the RV Park leave s much to be desired.

Camping sites are extremely tight with very limited parking. There are no restrooms at the site. The nearest restroom is about 1/4 mile from the camp site. Considering this is a National Park this is appalling . There is little or no supervision of this campground. Our site was not vacant at the appropriate time. We had to wait for other campers to vacate. The surrounding area is beautiful.

The camping experience ended at the front desk/cashier inside the lodge. There were three cashier positions but only one open for admission and purchasing items in the store. The other two cashier positions said for cabins only. The admission and store cashier were most times lined outside the lodge and down the stairs to the parking lot. There was a person at the cabin cashier position sitting there doing nothing but at no time did they help to relieve the horrible lineup. Poor management when it came to serving customers at the front desk cashiers, line ups long. I used the adjoining RV campground, it's nice, but could use a refresh. Witnessed lots of arguments regarding who should be in what spot, but the lodge staff seemed not interested into management of the RV campground, so sad.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
