Was very happy with camping experience and site. Extremely disappointed to see a total lack of actual people available in the park to help and answer questions about anything due to the recent cuts in workforce from the current US administration. Have always very much enjoyed National Parks and my experiences there. Now as far as employees available to assist with anything, they are non existent. You are on your own in Olympic National Park. Basically figure everything out on your own, no one available to help. Including at the entrance to the Park.

Our spot was in the middle of the campground in Loop B, but it was wide and separated well from others. We had an incredible Doug Fir tree next to our tent pad. Only a few folks who were a bit loud shortly after quiet hours began, but that stopped fairly quickly. The morning was really beautiful with sunlight streaking through the trees and so many bird calls and chipmunks scurrying about.

Overall had a great stay. Possibly the cleanest bathrooms I've seen camping before. Stayed at site 72, a bit close to neighbors but a minute or two walk to bathrooms and water.

Space 72 loop B- multi-level spot, large parking (2 vehicles easy), room for two personal tents below, nice fire pit to table distance. Area is sloped, slippery when dry, unforgiving rocks and roots randomly about. Shady, small clearing for stargazing. Close to bathroom, night lighting not obnoxious. Neighboring site was vacant, but can feel intrusive. Otherwise nice private site.

We camped in loop b. All the campsites were about equal with the exception of the ones immediately adjacent the entrance that were not as nice. The host was informative and social. The bathrooms clean. We had a dog and it is limiting. It would be great if national parks opened the trail from loop b to the lodge for dogs. The hot springs are a highlight. The lodge doesn’t really carry any camping necessities so don’t forget anything! Great place to go!

Ability to negotiate steep hills and stairs are needed in some sites and to get to the restrooms.
Beautiful, peaceful location with good access to hiking trails and the river.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
