Easy backing in. Nice gathering area off the back of the sites with a area for a tent. Not a far walk from the hot springs.

The campground was very poorly maintained for such a popular spot. I was not laid out as nicely as other nearby National Park campgrounds and there were no toilet facilities serving the campground. $18 for a 1 1/2 hour session in the pool facilities is too high a price. I'm sure the concessionaires are doing very well.

Enjoyed staying at Sol Duc campground. Its proximity to trails and the hot springs resort/restaurant were perfect. We stayed in the RV section, and while it was nice to have electric and water hookups, if I go again I will opt for a non electric standard spot as that campground is in the old growth forest and much more beautiful. The RV section is basically a gravel lot with picnic tables/fire pit behind each spaceand while the area behind is trees its not nearly as shaded and nice as the other loops. We enjoyed the Springs and pool one evening after hiking to the falls. Also ate in the restaurant, which wasnt fancy but had decent food. 2 nights here was perfect for our family and allowed us to visit Lake Crescent one day for a hike and explore Sol Duc the next day.

RV lot of the campground is terrible. Just a gravel parking lot, and the spaces are super tight. The Resort is outdated and ugly. Not well maintained. The hot springs pools are nice, but is an added cost to your trip, and for just 1.5 hours of access. Also be aware that you have to pay a fee to get into the National Park where the resort is located, on top of your reservation fee. All those negatives aside, the natural beauty is phenomenal and if you can put aside the ugliness of the resort/RVcampground, it is worth it. Loops A and B are much nicer, just avoid the RV lot.

The RV campgrounds have everything you need, but look more like a parking lot. There are some lovely trails through the regular campgrounds that you can access from the "RV Court" but there is little to no privacy between RV spaces.

There was no resort in this campground. It was just rv/ trailers packed into a small gravel parking lot with electricity provided. If you call something a resort it really should have been nicer.

Decent hiking and scenery within a walk from the campsite, although the facilities were lacking aside from the pool/ hot springs which was large enough to accomodate the late-afternoon surges and also quite clean. I would visit again, but might suggest swings, horse shoes, corn hole, something more for the kids.

Pros: Hot Springs Resort were a lovely treat after a long day of driving. The Sol Duc area is gorgeous. A hike to the Sol Duc Falls is an absolute must! Cons: Zero cell coverage, so be prepared. We stayed at the RV Court which is really just a gravel parking lot with electric and water hookups and a small picnic area. But campgrounds A and B looked nicer and more private (no hookups though).

There wasn't anyone at the Eagle ranger station. And when we got to the campground their wasn't anyway to check our spot. I had paid for 2 nights but I feel anyone could of come in there and stayed. The hot springs were ok and it did feel good after the 6 mile hike to the falls and the loop.

The website says Cable TV is provided. It isnt . The cable port is there but hasnt been working for 5 years. It also says there are bathrooms and showers. There are , but only in the lodge and you cant use them unless you pay $12 each for one 90 minute hot tub session. We left a day early because it rained so hard and long that our RV site ( and all the others) were literally flooding over. We expected the rain, just not the site flooding over. I doubt we can get a refund for the night we couldnt stay due to the water. It cost as much to stay here as it did at the next beautiful, full service private RV park we went to. Oh, and by the way, there is no WiFi or cell service here.

The rv camping area was a crowded gravel lot with very noisy neighbors using their generator despite having electrical hookup. No host. We had to bang on their door to get them to shut it off after 10pm.
We moved to the dry camping area which was much nicer and quieter.
The trails are great. Highly recommend the salmon exhibit area where we saw salmon jumping the rapids.

Short walk to hot springs. RV campground is water and electric only and spaces are side by side in a gravel parking lot. Sites back up to the forest where picnic tables are located. No cel phone (Verizon) or internet service here.

Beautiful place! It was a bit expensive given that each 90 minute reservation cost $12/person...$50 every time our family of 4 wanted to use the hot springs. I'm assuming it is a covid thing which I understand but wish we could have used the hot springs more often during our 2 day stay without breaking the bank.

The camping spots for your RV are very nice even though the space is small and compact. What a beautiful area. Staff at the hot springs pool were very good and professional about the new covid restrictions. I loved the uncrowded pool, are it reminded me of the old days before everything was overcrowded. So nice I hope we always have covid restrictions in the pool area.
