Wonderful setting amongst the big trees. The restrooms were clean everything else was what we expected. Our only note for improvement was that the camp host was only present for a few hours and not overnight. Some campers apparently weren't aware of the campfire ban and we had to remind them.

Although the forest was beautiful, the campsite was not ideal. There was no way to see what the campsite looked like in advance. It ended being remarkably small (Ive never had such a small campsite before across several years of camping), and stationed between a mountain wall, the hosts campsite, and the road. No privacy, and no good views. When we asked to switch, we were told the resort staff/hosts had no direct access or knowledge of site cancellations or openings. They offered us 3 walk-in sites, all of which were too long of a hike for our heavy camping gear. Regardless of the site, the overall campground was beautiful, a close walk to Sol Duc Falls, and access to the hot springs. Recommended campground, but try to research individual sites ahead of time if possible.

It is a beautiful campground that is very well maintained. The hosts weren't on site most of our visit but on their return we found them very nice and answered our questions. Really beautiful area!

We had a campsite directly next to the host. When we arrived, there were trash bags full of food wrappers and coolers of food laid out everywhere at the host site. We were convinced it was a person squatting in the site, that there was no way a host could leave a campsite that way. We drove around the campground looking for someone in a host uniform to speak with (every single campsite was in great condition other than this host). Turns out he was the host, and when I finally found him and asked him if he could please take care of the garbage and food that was left out for hours while he was away... he said "there is nothing in there that animals would want". We checked while he was gone- it literally was food and food wrappers.. exactly what animals want. I am still blown away that that was the host. I felt unsafe with young children sleeping next to him being so irresponsible

Beautiful campsites embedded within the old growth forest. Nice fire pits with a grill and clean bathrooms. I found it to be a good location to explore the rest of the park. Would absolutely stay here again.
