Clean, maintained, up to date facilities (with lots of wall outlets!). Lovely beach with great access. Felt perfectly safe leaving belongings while we went sightseeing, and guests were courteous (except for the one guy with the LED headlamp that was bright enough to light up the inside of our tent like day time from two spots away ) and maintained their spots very well.

Overall this campground is pretty awesome. How often can you stay somewhere with beach views for this price? The beach itself is wonderful, lots of smooth flat sand for long walks. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned/restocked more often for how many people were using them. Also, I ended up getting mice in my car here, but I'm not blaming the campground - just know that this is a flourishing ecosystem with all its critters! (And maybe try spraying around your engine with peppermint oil, which supposedly works to repel mice... I will be trying this from now on.)

Sand dollars galore on beach! Tree of Life was awesome! Campground was quiet, close to beach. Water spigots were at opposite ends of the grounds but it looks like another one is being constructed at the middle restroom facilities.

Sites were generously spaced, giving better privacy. Some sites, including mine, are fairly close to US 101, However, traffic slacked off significantly as the night progressed, and the sound of the ocean drowned out what little vehicle noise remained. Very good national park campground.

Being at the ocean has always been a special experience for me and brings back many memories. I was fortunate enough to have one of the bluff cabins. They are comfortable, not fancy but perfect for the place! We loved the walk in the spuce burls at Beach 1 just 1 1/2 miles south of Kalaloch. Also loved our hike down the beach to Browns Point.

Great place to camp. Near Ruby beach and more. Sounds of the ocean put me to sleep. Great staff...very clean.
