E Loop is a small loop of sites, not a lot of privacy. No block from wind, strategic placement of gear is required. Still a good camping site, E6.

Campsite was very small, and of course wet. Bathrooms were very dirty. The tree of life is great. We saw otters from the ledge!

We enjoyed our stay very much; our site was especially nice, away from the highway so we could listen to the ocean surf and a magnificent view a short walk away. The beach is fabulous, and we enjoyed beautiful weather. We also enjoyed walking through the rain forest nature trail.

Too many dogs. Dog barking woke me up every morning and dogs were not on leases on the beach. Over four days trying to watch birds, the dogs were always interfering. I went to Ruby beach low tide only to be greeted by a unleashed Doberman pincher at the top of the trail, it scared and angered me. Not what I want to experience after this early morning outing!

Roomy campsite near the ocean on loop D. We camped in a campervan so it was nice to have access to the flush toilets and bathroom sink. Nice camp store where we bought white wine and takeout restaurant. The beach is just a few stairways down to the shore, Would definitely camp here again!

Sadly it’s just not the same experience as the 30+ years we have had before. The rangers are so young and prideful. There’s is no consistency in the things they demanded of campers (heaven forbid you rest your bikes on a bush or bring up a rock from the beach). And the hosts aren’t much better. The store was almost empty most days we went in and both the lodge and store were ill stocked when ordering food items.
We do still love the camp ground though and it was extra beautiful with not having fires. The stars were gorgeous! Also updated bathrooms were awesome!

Wonderful place and campground was pretty good. Beach was excellent and you can see gray whales offshore during their migration!
E loop bathroom was not restocked with TP or cleaned on a weekend, for a full day. Probably more traffic than usual from day users on a busy Memorial weekend.
