Campsites are wonderful but I was surprised paved parts were not cleaned off between visitors. This park is very similar to GREENPOINT campground on Vancouver Island, which we frequent so I couldnt help comparing the upkeep. Also, the one large bathroom has been out for months - a stairway to the beach the same. I found it amusing that someone with more lumber and nails to further block the access when he could be repairing it instead?Walking north to the end of the beach at low tide is a must. Perhaps a sign that says Please dont chase the birds on the beach might stop people's kids from doing this. Also need NO OVERNIGHT PARKING on overlook to beach at area A. Totally full at 7 am.Staff were very kind. Will definitely return to this beautiful area.

The beach and tide pools were fun

I absolutely love this campground! Big mature trees, moss, ferns -- feels very Jurassic. It is in a RAIN FOREST, so be prepared for cool, chilly, damp conditions. Also, BELIEVE the vehicle restrictions! We heard tales of woe from several families who got stuck, broke an axle, etc., trying to wedge into spaces that were too small. There truly is no extra room.

Beautiful place to camp. Be sure to check out the 'Tree of Life' on the beach when you visit.

Campsite was completely full and the beach was the most crowded I’ve seen.

Loved this campground! Right by the beach. It was definitely loud past quiet hours when we were there- would have appreciated more rounds done by hosts/rangers. Campsites are fairly close to each other too. But overall the experience was awesome!

Right on the beach. Access to so many great trailheads!
