Site was tight but as advertised. Location is great right on the bluff. It would be nice to have showers but knew there werent any at this site. Overall great experience.

Simple camping on the coast. We had a pathway to an ocean view in site A-11 which took securing 6 mos to the minute ahead of time. But there were free spots when we arrived the Tuesday after Memorial Day. We walked a few hundred feet south to the beach access from which we could walk the beach below our site. Heads up to anyone interested in Tidal Pool exploring. We had no cell signal but had pulled the tide schedule ahead of time and knew from our trusty National Park book that the nearest great spot was north at Beach 4, just north of mile marker 160. Take the path down to the beach and then get yourself to the big rock outcroppings to the right. The pools and rocks have more sea stars and anemones than those direction in front of the path.

Campsites next to the ocean are amazing!

We had the most beautiful campsite we have ever had. Facilities were clean. Water and dump station were available in the campground. My only complaint is that we paid for two vehicles at the site but the ranger made us move one to the parking lot because it was touching the grass.

This is hands down one of the best campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at! We loved it so much, we came back a week later and took our chances on a waitlist! Site 11 was perfection- spacious, water views, a little path to enjoy beach view, etc. Can’t wait to come back some day!

Amazing. Will book again. Rob with Kalaoch Maintenance and Dori at the Kalaoch market are the best! They were super helpful when we needed assistance.
