Excellent spot, only way to make it better would be to add power.

Generally a nice location. Some campsites backup directly onto US Hwy 101 and can be noisy. Great access to the beach at designated areas. Restrooms are small and not always clean.

Had so much fun, this trip was very memorable for our family. Our spot was clean, the bathrooms were also clean. The beach is beautiful. And we escaped the heat wave the rest of the state was experiencing. Our 9 month old doesn't like sleeping in the tent much. So we took a spot next to the highway. We were one of the few sleeping near the highway so we had much privacy. The spots are much closer to the highway than I imagined they would be. Maybe less than 50 feet, but not sure exactly. Ive slept near roads before but usually there is more footage between the site and road. You will get bright lights and hear loud trucks passing by. Thankfully those sounds did not wake our baby and the sounds of the waves were present and actually kept her asleep thru the night. Id probably do it again to avoid bothering my neighbors with a crying infant. The other downside was there were few water stations, and the closest to us was out of order, so we had to walk a long distance to get water.

One of the most serene and lush campsites I have experienced. Loved that it was on the beach. And a one mile walk to local shop and restaurant if needed.
