Been going to Kalaloch Campground since the 1950s. Now kids and Grandkids love it too. So upset done spaces are victim to erosion. Wish you could do something to prevent it! This place is so unique and lovely! Right on ocean which is rare for our State. Wish it was easier to get reservations! Its a free for all! New staggered reservation makes it worse as more people are going after A and B loops in February instead of all park loops available. Go back to original. Please save this Campground from the Sea. Nothing wrong with saving it. Get out of Hippy mentality that Mother Earth is in charge as one Ranger told me 2 years ago!

Nice campsite with good atmosphere and location, was super nice to be able to walk to the beach easily for sunset and hear the ocean at night. We also liked the location to get to the Hoh rainforest early in the morning. Campsites are very close together so no privacy from neighbors and the bathrooms (womens specifically) are fine (flush toilets, running water) but rough shape.

Nice campground. Sites along the water are especially nice. Facilities are fine. Nice easy trail accessible from campground.

Very peaceful and relaxing. The individual campsites have a fair distance between for good separation between campsites, they are tidy and well cared for, the fire pits are in good shape with a grate, and bathrooms are fairly close, clean, well kept and orderly. Nearly all sites are in shade not all sites near the bluff have a view of the ocean so you'l want to make sure you have that in your reserved site if you are expecting it.
The beach was vast, clear, smooth, free of debris and trash of any kind, and sprawling for miles. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night trip. The shade areas really did cool off the sun in the campground. The campground overseer or caretaker was very pleasant and good spirited. We really enjoyed our time speaking with him about the area. Keep up the good work park services!

Our family makes a point of camping at Kalaloch every year. Our whole family (including our dog) loves walking on the beach and splashing in the creek. This year we ventured a little further and enjoyed the tide pools. It’s always such a restful time. Our kids (16 and 19) count it as one of their favorite places to go as a family.
