Kalaloch campground is conveniently located in east part of Olympic with easy excess to the beach, bathrooms were average one of the sink faucet was broken, there is a potable water fill up and nearby hiking trail as well as easy access to other attraction, Olympic NP is huge so we split our stay at two location s starting at Kalaloch then driving Westward. It is a rain forest so plan a stay accordingly as you will get wet

The campground is beautifully located in a rainforest next to the beach. There is lots of shade and enough privacy between sites. The one downside is that some of the sites are essentially next to the highway. There is not much traffic during the night, but it is not the most quiet location.

Was beautiful location. Bathrooms were a bit sad. The one closest to our site only had one stall available. It was well used

Open to the road. Not our style. Cars speeding by.

Total experience was great. Site host and rangers were great.

This area is spectacularly beautiful, with the beach and the forest. But the site we reserved was pretty bad. It was the last one available so we didn’t have a choice. Site 069; it was right by the bathrooms and garbage dumpsters, so the smell was pretty bad. And highway noise, including loud logging trucks, kept us up at night. The sites along the bluff are amazing and you’d be lucky to snag one! I’d go back if I can manage to reserve a site away from the highway. Very busy when we went in August, and every spot was taken. I wouldn’t chance going without a reservation!
