The most beautiful campsite in the country.

Have been camping at Kalaloch for 70 years! Love the rugged coast, cool weather and sun in late AM through rest of day. Enjoyed going to beaches. Ranger low tide walk and ranger talks. The whale talk was ex excellent.

Our experience at Kalaloch Campground was fantastic. I am so thankful for our National Parks. They are a treasure worth funding!

Beautiful campground and beach. Campfire ban during pouring rain was a bummer but I get it.

Beautiful setting, peaceful, spectacular. Spacious campsites. Convenient restrooms. And the icing on cake: bioluminescence in the waves at night! Truly magical.

Stunning view! Just a bit too windy during the daytime

Kalaloch is a beautiful place to walk the beach and look at tidal pools during low tide. There were three problems I noted during my recent stay. The first and most serious was the terrible condition of the restrooms in the campground. There was no soap. There was filth, everywhere. The smell was overpowering. Granted, they need to be completely redone (the facilities are beyond repair) but still, they could have installed some soap dispensers and cleaned them once in a while. The second problem was that Kalaloch suffers from what I call "Washington dog owner carelessness" and by that I mean well over half of the visitors to the place bring their dogs and many do not use leashes despite the requirement. They're running amok on the beach and cause a distraction to what would otherwise be a great experience. Finally, despite the clearly labeled "no campfires on the beach" signs, there were multiple groups with campfires on the beach, some of them quite large, and no visible enforcement of the rules. Despite these shortcomings, we had a wonderful time and I'd encourage people to visit. But...Kalaloch needs to know that they can improve, particularly by putting soap in restrooms.

Tremendous view from the coastal campsites! We will definitely be returning here. Easy reservation process.Only downside (or upside?) was near zero reception with verizon wireless.
