A lot of the campground is right off the highway. There is quite a bit of road noise. However it is very beautiful and our site was huge. No soap in bathrooms and no showers. Had to walk to a dumping station to get our water.

The campground is nice but this specific campsite is directly next to the main road. Make sure to bring esrplugs if you want to sleep well!

There was not any water available on the whole north end of the campground(loops D E F) except at the dump station. There used to be water spigots at each restroom and they have all been removed. Also, the reservation system has not improved over the past several years with the new staggered site reservations. There was still the issue of multiple empty sites even though it was super difficult and frustrating to get a couple of sites near each other, and the camp ground was supposedly full. This was my familys 34th year of camping at Kalaloch and by far the most difficult to secure sites and to then arrive and have half the camp ground empty was super irritating.

Clean sites. Definitely recommend looking at the sites in person before selection. Some are great for tents, others are not.

Bathrooms clean and heated. No showers, no soap in bathrooms, but they have a few outlets in there for use.

Beautiful camping area next to the beach, awesome views a short walk away, lots of shade amidst large trees. The facilities were clean and the whole experience very peaceful. A well attended nature talk in the evening about sea creatures explained a lot about sea creatures and aspects of climate change.

Campsites that are close to road are extremely noisy due to passing traffic. No soap in bathrooms. Camp hosts and rangers were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend searching for site away from 101.
