We stayed here two nights. The first night was amazing. Absolutely well kept excellent experience and campground site. The second night at this site was not great. No privacy at all. Very small campsite. Nowhere to fit tent had to move it to the parking area which made it difficult to park our car. The biggest problem was the broken fire grill that only had three metal spokes remaining making it very difficult to cook our meals. We had an ocean view, but was greatly obscured by poison oak.

Absolutely spectacular site, with amazing sunset views and the crashing sound of the ocean to lull you to sleep at night. Bathrooms left a lot to be desired in this loop...one toilet was out of water, and the other was far from clean and had a line. But the direct Pacific Ocean views honestly made up for a LOT.We fit a 21" camper van plus a 4-person tent on the site, and it was tight adding a car horizontally across the driveway opening. The site immediately next to us was considerably bigger with a quite big "side yard." No complaints, though. I would joyfully have stayed here 2 weeks if I could have gotten the spots.

Fantastic campground and site. Would recommend getting a spot closer to the beach or secluded in the trees with the road noise in some spots.

Kalaloch is a personal favorite. This week I was blessed to have 4 nights oceanfront. This specific site could have had a bit better ocean view if The bushes were trimmed back a bit, but at the same time those bushes cut down the wind and were an excellent privacy divider with neighboring campsites. All the camp neighbors were respectful of quiet hours. Kalalochs weather is always a bit fickle, but we had sun every afternoon and incredible sunsets. We also like the convenience of the store at the lodge, which has market priced beer and $2 large soft serve cones, as well as various other sundry items which might be needed. Bring your own firewood though, because they are almost $9 a bundle. Also enjoyed the nature trail - we had it all to ourselves when we went and the sights are not very different than what you would find at the much more crowded Hoh.

Beautiful scenery. Love the simple camping. Don't need hookups. The sanidump is all we need. Friendly staff and host.
