PROS* Check-in was easy.* Facilities were close by and cleaned daily* Sites are well spaced out* Vehicle is not covered by trees so you don't have to worry about constant dripping from the trees after rainCONS* Site F004 is NOT for tent camping. Not enough level ground to set up a tent. * We had a roof top tent which was also a bit tight when folded out. * It also rained most of the time we were there and water does pool up on site (although does dissipate soon after it stops raining).* No T-Mobile coverage on site (assuming because of trees) but if you go down to the beach you'll get 2 bars

We hit the weather perfectly with sun, warm, and light wind. The campground was very friendly and welcoming. I have lived in Washington for 72 years and can’t believe I never camped at Kalaloch before. We will go back!

Really nice campsite with lots of privacy the way they are arranged, excellent volunteer hosts, great environment, many things to do, great views. Take your rain coat. It was fun to see how different people dressed and outfitted for tide-pooling: some in sandals (brrrr!), some in boots, some in rain gear, some in shorts and tees. This setting is close enough to the Hoh Rain Forest to include it in some excursions, but is whole by itself. Will love to return--maybe even in the winter!

Nicely spaced campsites offered a sense of privacy. Easy walk to the beach.
