A8 was a surprisingly good site. Great proximity to bathroom, dishwashing, closest to beach access for that tree everyone wants to see. Had to walk past amphitheater area to get to beach access, adding to convenience. Site A8 also had decent privacy. Look at the map and it looks like a busy location, which it is, although the back in parking is aligned for maximum privacy. Being not located directly on the beach side, the trees provide a decent block from the wind.

Walk the beach at low tide and check out the tide pools. Nice cool ocean breeze. We stayed in A8 in a 25ft camper trailer. Very shady.

Clean sites steps from the beach in a beautiful setting, no showers but enough facilities to stay for few nights.

These sites are somewhat small and compact, but they're clean and the area is very nice. Good bathroom facilities and water spigots. Our site specifically (A008) had a broken grill on the fire-ring, which was inconvenient but ultimately we were able to make it work. The canopy protects pretty well from light rain, and overall the area is damp, so it stays nice and cool. Be sure however to bring kindling wood or a firestarter if you plan on burning wood. Additionally, consider having a good means to pound stakes into the ground, which was mostly embedded with lots of small gravel and dense earth. The sites also have great access to the beach; our site was maybe 150ft from the beach entrance, and many of the sites even overlook the beach, which I would highly recommend if you can get them. Finally, there were a lot of families and the campground seems very popular in the summertime, so if you're looking for a bit more privacy this isn't the best choice, however everyone was overall very polite and respected quiet hours and their neighbors well.
