The campground is great and access to the beach is the best. The only downside is that campsite D002 is NOT an RV site. The pad is so sloped that youre not getting anywhere close to level unless you have hydraulic lifts, which we did not. Fortunately our traveling companions did, so we traded spots with them. Aside from that, the site is very nice and spacious.

We loved our stay! A family of five, three kids (13m, 3years, 5years). We stayed at campsite D002 which was a dream! Really spacious, lots of trees around for the kids to play, the bathroom a short walk away, access to the beach after crossing the parking lot. We spend a lot of time simply on the campsite because our kiddos had so much fun playing between the trees and sitting around the campfire, and also down at the beach, the Tree of Life is right there! Lots of big log trees on the beach for climbing, the beach is sandy so sand castles were a must. The next day we drove to Hoh Rainforest which was about an hour drive, where we did the Spruce Nature Trail (1.2miles) which was so beautiful and easy enough for the kids. Make sure to ask for the Ocean steward and Junior Ranger programs at the Ranger station, if you complete it you get a badge which is just such a special and cool souvenir! On the way back we stopped at Beach 4. Make sure to check the tide schedule to come during low tide to see some beautiful tide pools. Getting on the beach is a little tricky (for kids)as the access point to the beach is a big rock which you can either climb down on a rope or navigate your way down the rock. Its not hard hard but something to keep in mind. I cannot wait be back!

A beautiful long beach, many lovely campsites, easy check in, and adequate bathrooms. The store gets lots of use, so best not to rely on it, say for eggs! There was some cell service for us there though. And across the street there is a trail to the Forest Service Station. It is safer than walking on the road....The station has info on hikes and the area in general.

The campground is kept very clean even the facilities on site. The access to the beach is super easy and close. The tree of life is actually right below loop D on the beach. It’s really quiet there as well. We will definitely be going back.

Kalaloch was a nice park, and the campground was fair. Most of the spaces were pretty small, and many had pretty steep slopes, which were difficult to get RVs level. The campsites along the main road carried a lot of road noise, but the ones on the ocean side were pretty nice.

So close to awesome beaches! Campsites are decently not on top of each other. Noise from the road but not terrible. Biggest complaint was no place to dump dishwater // water faucets were a real hike away from our site.

This is one of the coolest spots I've camped - super nice to be only an hr from Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park. Even cooler to be able to walk down to the beach from your campsite. The campsites were larger than I was expecting with plenty of trees, moss, and foliage. It was well maintained. The closest bathroom to our site was closed for renovations, so we had to walk a bit further. My only complaint would be the loudness of other campsites after 10PM (quiet hours). Most of it died down shortly after 11pm, but it would've been nice to have it quieter earlier.

This was a beautiful spot. The scenery was amazing and the beach was soooo close. I have never seen that many stars in my life. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is camping in the area. It was a little close to the road but there isnt much traffic. Book early to get a beach site.
