Fairholme Campground is set in tall trees with lots or undergrowth separating campsites, on the shore of lovely Lake Crescent. The facilities (bathroom, water spigot etc) are nice and the campsite was great. Despite there being many sites in multiple loops, the campground was overall very quiet and peaceful!

Beautiful tall trees and a lovely clear lake are the natural wonders that grace this campground but unfortunately, its only the natural beauty that carry this campground. The design of the campground and amenities are quite poor. Fairholme is built into a fairly steep hillside and sites are stacked closely so that our camp site was directly above another, offering both parties little privacy. There are also no showers at the campground, making it hard to stay there for longer than a few days. Ive stayed at a number of National Park campgrounds and this one was just Ok. Heres hoping they get some more many for their park to upgrade their facilities. Its not stopping the crowds from doing but it holding back the experience of camping at this campground.

location was good but you are pretty close to your neighbors and the site is sloped. however, everyone was quiet during quiet hours so it wasnt too bad. also sucks that there was no soap in the bathroom despite having running water and a sink.

I loved having beach access at the campground. Was in a central area so I was easily able to get to all the main attractions. As a person with mobility issues, it was challenging for me to get to the bathroom with my campsite being on a hill. The grounds are not flat. Get a site close to bathroom if anyone in your party struggles with hills or uses accommodations to walk.

Amazing campground, with access to Lake Crescent, you can use the water access to launch a boat or a paddleboard. Close to Sol Duc, hiking in the Mt. Storm King area. The restrooms were clean, there was water available, and the campground was well maintained.

Location and access to the Olympic Peninsula was great. Where I deducted stars is for lack of water near the sites, only water in the camp is located at the bathrooms. Any sites at the top of the campground back up directly to a road, this was no clear when book and as I have a 2 year old I though being further from the late would be safer and didn't realize the road was right next to my site.
