Sol doc falls hike was our favorite; as were the trails around the crescent lodge. Hoh rainforest was dimmed by the 2.5hr car wait followed by only 2mi of trails once you get inplan carefully!

Great camp site right next to the lake. Bring bug spray. Mosquitoes are plentiful.

The highway right there makes it so hard to sleep with the loud trucks all night. And also some of the campsites are on hills so its hard to sleep.

The site by the lake was beautiful but extremely close to other campers. Our boys enjoyed playing in the lake and having the ducks wander through the campsite. While we loved being right next to the lake, the bathhouse was steeply uphill, which made an annoying walk each time haha. Otherwise, you couldn't beat the location! The provided bear box was super nice.

This is such a beautiful campground! Our first time staying at a walk-in site just feet away from the lake and we absolutely loved it. I've stayed at this campground for many years and there's not a bad site to be found! Beautiful sites, ravens, chipmunks, and very friendly ducks! There's road noise from Highway 101 that carries over the lake but by the second day I barely noticed it. The lake view was more than worth it!

The campground and bathrooms are clean. Water spigots are conveniently located throughout, plus some outside the toilet building. The lake is very beautiful with clear aqua water. Food lockers to discourage bears are plentiful but I did not see anyone use them. There were people who kept their food coolers out all day and overnight. While the lake is pretty, it is anything but serene. There is a very busy highway that runs along the lake. The traffic noise is very loud and I found it disturbing. My campsite was a walk-to that was along the lake's edge. The campsites here are quite small and so close to one another your tents are practically on top of each other. I had to wear earplugs to sleep because the traffic sound so so loud and the next tent had a snoring person in it. The lake is worth a visit, but I do not recommend camping here if you like peaceful settings with even a modicum of privacy.
