So pretty. Somewhat close together and highways right there but worth it

so amazing and beautiful, everyone is so helpful and it is such a prime location for lake crescent, we were able to hike all over and swim. it is a little crowded and close conditions but no big deal. Maybe they could make it easier to find the walk to sites, there was no signage on where which one was until you came across it.

Site was small but lovely. You can hear the road traffic at night which is a bummer. Very long walk to the site. Recommend unpacking from the boat ramp and walking the trail along the coastline.

Had a walk-in site down by the lake shore and other than having to climb the hill to get back up to the car, it was a pleasant experience. When I read that the sites were close together I expected a lot of noise, but it was relatively quiet until about daylight when the logging trucks started rolling down US 101, but that was not the campground's fault. A number of good hiking opportunities and most of the lakeside sites had direct access to the water. The other sites could access the lake via the boat ramp/launch area. There were squirrels and chipmunks, lots of song birds, mallards and mergansers with young'uns and an owl that visited the campsite. The hosts were informative and very friendly. The restrooms in the area I was in were under renovation, but the portable toilets were well maintained, except for the hand sanitizer. Cell service was not good, but better than expected. Had 4G with one bar down by the lake shore and occasionally two bars.

Overall a great campsite right on the edge of the lake. Was able to fit two 4-person tents with plenty of space to walk around. Only had neighbors on the right side (site 89). There is a site right above this one that has a clear view down. The walk to the bathrooms and car is a little steep. There was no food storage box for this site.

Being on the water absolutely made the steep hike to and from the bathroom worth it. We have a wagon which made trips to and from the car much easier and I couldnt imagine camping here without it.
