The mini trail/pathway to the lake is about 50 feet from this specific campground. The bathroom is a short walk away behind the campsite. Very peaceful and VERY quiet during my stay. Perfect place to bring a chair and enjoy sunrise/sunset by Lake Crescent on their little pocket viewpoints along the trail. You can see specks of blue water through the trees, which was very beautiful. This campsite is elevated from where you park so its not private as the picnic table pretty much gives you view of everyone else's campsite when looking towards the lake. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and had all the basic needs that every campground usually has.

Beautiful, peaceful, and clean campsite. Excellent location between Port Angeles and Forks on lake Cresent. Good hikes, activities on the lake, and watching stars on the dock all within a short walk or drive away.

This not actually a level site for a vanthe pull-through would probably work better for a small trailer that has some jacks to level it, but then also the rest of the site is above the trailer, it's a bit awkward. So, maybe this would just be a better tent site. I would not take this site again for our camper van.

The attendants were always off duty. If you plan to have a nice quiet nights sleep get a hotel. Propane fire pits are permitted when theres a burn ban. Beautiful space its just too bad it's not dispersed. We all had a great time either way.

Someone stole the spot that the friends of my son had reserved. The host told them they could have another site that was supposed to be empty but someone had stolen that site too!!! The site they were finally given was extremely tiny compared to the one they had originally reserved. The "neighbors" at the site above us were EXTREMELY loud, talking and laughing at the tops of their voices, until well after midnight, even though quiet time starts at 10. They also ran a very loud generator for about 4 hours a day! And to top it off, they had a large campfire even though there was a burn ban on. The guy was very aggressive when I told him that there was a burn ban on. I finally had to make a complaint with a Ranger. Why are there even hosts when they can't do anything about noise or stolen reserved spots?!!
