Campground is great. Lake and docks are within an easy stroll. Bathrooms are clean; no showers, but flush toilets. This campsite was a short, steep walk-to from parking (<50ft). Small, shared bear box was available a short walk away. Campsite overlooks the lake through a few trees and is very shady and level. The only reason I couldn't rate it 5 stars is due to the amount of road noise from across the lake. Thankfully, it does ease off later at night, but I wouldn't say this site qualified as "quiet". Still peaceful overall, though.

Well positioned within the park. It's very nice to camp so close to the lake - the little beach there was much less busy than other parts of the park, so it was often easy to get time (nearly) to yourself. Restroom facilities were fair. The only downside for me was the proximity to the road; since the main road runs along the other side of the lake, I would often hear traffic passing through the park.

I booked this so we could ride the Olympic Discovery trail sections on the north side of Crescent Lake because our previous experiences had been stressful drives on 101 on the south side of the lake. I didn't realize that our campsite had a view of logging trucks on 101 and loud vehicle sounds and lights during the night. This is obviously not the campground or NPS' fault, but my own miscalculation. The campground itself was well maintained and everything went very well... except being woken in the night by lights and horns that made it sound as if - as I could hear the person in the next site remark - "I thought a train was going to hit our tent." The lake itself is stunning. The store is a fun amenity. The Olympic Discovery Trail could use a whole lot more signage, but was fabulous once located.
