Great site near the water. Great location if you're trying to catch all parts of the park as it's centrally located. Just be ready to take some longer beautiful drives to see sites as Olympic is just that big of a park.

The campground was great and the lake is just breathtaking. Sadly, our neighbors pulled into the spot at 11pm and stayed up drinking and partying until 3am. We didn't get good sleep, but that was only because of our neighbors and not the site itself!

Great campground with very helpful rangers (Simon in particular) Unfortunately very poor weather so didn't get to use much of amenities.

Amazing place- Being right in front of the lake and surrounded by so much nature makes it beautiful and magical. No need to drive anywhere if youd like to hike as theres a trail nearby. The Sol Duc Springs are a 5min drive away. The nature around the area gives this place all the stars it deserves.Aside from the trail- I wish rangers were more present- at least do a round at night as some campers are very inconsiderate: drinking, being loud and letting kids run around with flashlights pointing them into others tents This campground doesnt have showers and the ladies restroom ran out of toilet paper - it took them TWO days to put some in- there also isnt any soap. This is my 5th National Park visited (I started during the pandemic) and Olympic National Park is in serious need of maintenance. The rangers are all very young and maybe they are knowledgeable- but when you have questions they provide minimal response, or say idk or are not friendly (very different from other NP were rangers are eager to share knowledge). In summary: The place is gorgeous - the lack of maintenance and ranger activity is extremely poor.

We had reserved site 20B. Unfortunately, the parking spot was so sloped we could not level our small RV. We had to scramble to find another spot at a different campground further down the road. Very nerve-wracking in the middle of a camping trip. It would be a great thing if spots that are good for tent camping (the campsite had a lovely spot, level and smooth, behind the picnic table--perfect for a large tent), and not so great for a van or small RV could be designated as such.
