This is an ok campground, but was my least favorite of the four I stayed in at Olympic National Park. The site is a little small, and while I found a couple options for my 2 man tent, anything bigger would feel cramped. Unless you do one of the walk in sites with a lake view theres really nothing memorable about this campground. Do not book this site if you have a van or rooftop camper. The parking spot is on a pretty decent incline. Lastly, this is probably the closest major campground in the park to Seattle. That plus the draw of the lake means more of a party vibe and kids than I prefer. It did finally quiet down at night, but it just wasnt the atmosphere I prefer.

Fairhome is a very popular campground that is difficult to book unless you log in to recreation.gov at just the right time. Its a nice campground but isn't really anything special which leads me to wonder why it books so rapidly. Also, it would be good if there were more restrooms for the number of people who camp there.

A lovely campground with access to peaceful, beautiful Lake Crescent, a jewel in the Olympics. Note, the sites are on a hill sloping down to the lake and there are no showers, so this may not work for some campers.

Solo traveler with a single person tent and one car, but I think you could realistically fit 3-4, two person tents or a variation and two cars. Hills are kind of steep so be mindful. Picnic table and fire pit are provided within the site but water spout and bathroom are right down the turn, both of which are in good shape. Ive been traveling to multiple parks this season and have been mindful of bears so it was a little weird to only have one bear box for the entire campsite, however the priority is given to hiker/biker as it should be. The only other thing I would be mindful of is the mosquitoes!!
