Great site, a little secluded with ferns surrounding the tent pad. Closer to the road though, so you will hear cars passing by. No Verizon service.

This campground is tucked into the trees, well fitted out with showers and flush toilets. We walked on all of the trails, especially liked the one that led to the lighthouse.

Rain Forrest hike is arelatively short 4 mile loop from the campground and was great for young kids (5-9 year olds). Site 20 is right by the creek/waterfall and best spot in my opinion. Campground bathroom is small (only one stall in the mens) and there are no showers; however there are paid showers a mile up the road at the rain forest resort by the post office.

Cute campground, site 021 doesn't have a lake view, but is close to a river/waterfall so that sound drowns out the noise from neighbors and the road pretty well. The sites are small and close together but still peaceful. It was raining when we arrived but the tent pad was slightly raised and didn't have any standing water. Hosts did not sell firewood but you can pick some up from the Mercantile just down and across the road for $6 a bundle.

Great little site, some of the sites are a little strange. I would give it a good review, just reporting an issue I had.

The good: right next to the lake. perfect place to disconnect from the world and relax. had so much fun kayaking, rowing, swimming, stargazing...we saw the neowise comet :)theres a convenience store nearby. motorized boats were not allowed, so it was quiet and not crowded. The bad: camp sites are smaller. not much privacy in the reserved sites. better privacy in the walk-in sites. The ugly: no facilities to shower. bring a portable shower. can not shower at the lodge either (only for lodges guests).
