We enjoyed the weekend and the view was beautiful. Nice breeze off the lake. Campground was clean and quiet. Not an easy way to get to the water from our site. The restrooms were clean.

Clean,great cell reception 5g, good fishing. Very popular place. Host were phenomenal. Playground for kids, boat ramps. Fun place.

Hawthorn needs an update. The campground has beautiful views of the lake. However, the sites are difficult to get into, and it is not very clear on the listings that the sites do not all have access to water. Please give this campground some much needed love for us local folks.

Stayed there 5/29/23 through6/1/23, had great weather to sit outside on bluff overlooking water. Enjoyed hearing and watching boaters on water.
There were incredible amounts of butterflies in campground, had to be sure door was shut quickly, both trailer and truck.

We had a wonderful weekend at Hawthorn Bluff. Facilities and campsites were clean. Everyone was friendly. We highly recommend!

First time here. Very nice campground and shower house. Well kept. Clean.

Only complaint is most spots a very unlevel. Fishing dock is nice. If you scout out ahead of time where the water spigots are it makes it easier since its shared water. Hosts are very nice.

Nice large campsite. There were racoons running around at night. Beautiful fireflies everywhere. We were in the Electric section and the campsite are pretty close to each other so its not as secluded and private if youre looking for that this place is not for you. Restrooms were clean and not as nasty as other campgrounds Ive been in so thats a plus.

This was our first time camping there and won't be the last. Enjoyed talking to the people that take care of the park, our friendly neighbors and the respect everyone has for each other. All the sites have a great view and it's very peaceful at night. Somethings that could be improved are the small bathrooms that need more ventilation, and sale of firewood in bundles .
