I had very positive interactions with one of the park volunteers. He was very kind and helpful. I loved the area and the clean bathroom facilities.

The park attendant was very nice at check-in. For the amount of campers on loop A, it was the quietest camp ground I have ever been to. And yes, there were kids there. I was impressed how clean the bathrooms were. Definitely like the design of the bathrooms too. The only thing I would say was an issue is there was no way to dry your hands in the bathroom. I would recommend this camp ground. Hope to return next year!

Ricky and Michelle at the gate house are wonderful! The entire area is clean and well maintained. I really appreciate the frequent drive-by inspections. The bathrooms are A+.

Tall Chief is a lovely campground with access to one of the best lakes in the state. The camphosts are a delight and super friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers are kept very clean and the ladies that do that are very friendly too.

The COE facility we stayed at was GREAT. Had a fantastic view of the lake. Area was clean, wooded, and enjoyable. Though it was certainly crowded, all camper were kind, courteous, and pleasant to be around. Public bathroom/showers with outstanding. Water hookups are "shared" in that you needed a "Y" connection to connect with water. On arrival a fellow camper volunteered a "Y" if i did not have one, which I didn't. So very much appreciated. (I now have 2 just in case). I would have given the location 5+ stars if not for 2 things. The site had a considerable step off form the RV pad to the ground. Perhaps it was just due to erosion, since the area had been flooded from VERY HIGH water. I hope the COE will fix this, since leaving it is a trip/fall hazard with may come with some liability. The second item was dump station. The site did not have sewer connection, thus had to use the ONLY DUMP station available, on the road leading out. The station had been abused by other campers, was not well maintained, and some RV owners ahead of us were very inconsiderate, taking significantly longer amount of time than necessary (training a 5yr how to do!) The dump station also did not have much pull off space, resulting in several tow vehicles and trailers lined up on the roadway. Another hazard. But all in all, I will definitely return for another camping trip! ABSOLUTELY!
