WE LOVE CAMPING HERE. The staff is very friendly, the sites are clean and well kept and we love being so close to the water. It's a quiet place that brings calmness and peace.

Even though the lake was way down due to drought conditions, the campgrounds are always kept clean and mowed. The beach area closes on October 1, however there was nothing posted anywhere about that, which was disappointing. We couldnt have asked for better weather but overall a great camping trip.

Wonderful Corps park to take the grandkids. The park was cleaned up nicely after the heavy rains which caused the temporary closing. Bathrooms expertly cleaned, swim beach clean, and the sweet lady at the gate house could not have been nicer! She was gracious, helpful, and kind!

Beautiful area. Some sites are hard to back into, that could deter me from coming in the future. Otherwise, great.

Despite the very, very rainy weather, we enjoyed Tall Chief Cove. The sites are nicely spread out so that it wasnt too crowded. If it is a rainy season, consider not reserving a waterfront site. Many had tables in the water and one had the water spigot in the water. We received an email three days before our reservation letting us know that because of the rising water, our reservations could be cancelled. Thankfully they werent and we appreciated the notice. Bathroom was cleaned daily. We enjoyed being close to the boat ramp and dock.
