When driving to the campground, do NOT take S283rdW Ave. It is 99% gravel and washboardy. Take 66 to Heyburn Lake Road. There was no attendant or map when we arrived, making it challenging to find our site, as the roads in the campground, although paved, do go in different directions, and a little tight for turning. We were in site 10, which was doable, but some sites are hilly. It was very quiet, although we were there a little off season. All in all, a good experience and would go back.

All the workers were very friendly and courteous. Great job on the grounds and the restrooms.

Very nice campground. Staff are also very nice!! It was clean, too. The roads are winding, so just a tad hard to get around - same with finding the campground.
On leaving I asked for a campground map of the sites and they had a nice one for us!
We plan to go there again!!

Reserved site online once we chose it. If the site woukd map sites showing vacant/occupied it woukd be easier to pick one. Park was about 2/3 empty and very quiet. The site had electric and water. There were flush toilets and hot showers. It's a pretty park. The posts at each site are for lanterns (old timer next door helped us solve that mystery). We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Heyburn Park. The facilities and park are very well maintained and we would recommend this park to friends.
