We were unable to stay at Heyburn Park since they had no water at the campground. Nobody bothered to let us know about this in advance and it was too late to reserve a spot anywhere else during spring break. We were very disappointed with the campground not letting us know since they had our contact information.

Heyburn Park is a nice campground. We enjoyed lake front views from this quite and under utilized campground. I would definitely go back.

Unfortunately our stay here was marred by tornado watches, warnings and heavy thunderstorms. I still give the park 5 stars as it's a lovely park and the attendant was very nice.

We were in site 30, very long and level. The campground is laid out very confusing, there’s no one to greet you and check you in. When you get there, there are no campground maps and there are no signs directing you to your campsite. We had to park and get out and walk around to find our campsite. If you are coming to this campground, do your homework and print off a map before you arrive.

Was a nice place to stop for a layover on our way to Arizona. Would not come again in our current rig due to the road in. Potholes, hills, s-curves on basically a single lane road that locals literally will run you off the road. Other than getting to this park, the sites were all beautiful on a peninsula surrounded by water.
The park itself was nice. Campsites were well spaced for decent privacy. However, we were here on the weekend and the place (campground specifically) was a nut house! There were anywhere from 3-5 cars at most campsites and people overcrowding the campsites. Most campgrounds don’t allow more than 2 cars per site to help prevent this issue. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting. We had vehicle issues and ended up having to stay 3 extra days while it got fixed. In the 4 days we were there the bathrooms didn’t get cleaned one single time. The trash got emptied and the toilet paper got refilled but that was it. There was poop on floor directly in front of the toilet in the women’s shower house on day 1 of our 4 days stay and it was still there when we left. This park has so much potential to be a great stay but the bathrooms need daily attention ans there really needs to be a limit on cars/people per campsite. Fix those issues and it would’ve been a 4+ star rating easy!

Camp itself is great. However the road to get there is a ox track.. doesn't look like it has been maintained since FDR administration.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
