The sites need to be updated for bigger campers. Also the website needs to be updated to warn people that some spots need at least 200ft of water hose to reach the water hydrant

Bathrooms were clean and camp grounds are well maintained

Usually I would have no complaints about Johnson creek. This time the grass was extremely unkept then the man came to mow and did a shabby job. Our camp was very overgrown and had terrible chiggers. We would have brought a weed eater had we known it was that bad.

Beautiful campground with adequate space between sites - some sites were very spacious :-) I camped over a weekend, and the other campers were quiet; no noisy neighbors late at night. The campground was very clean and easy to walk around at all hours; the lake was easy to walk to and my dogs really enjoyed it. There's a great view of the lake from most of the sites; nice to sit and watch the sun come up with your morning coffee. I was in site #29 - very easy to back in and hook up, although the distance to the water hook-up required multiple hoses. The restrooms were very clean and LARGE - with a great shower area (I had to peek in to look, even though my trailer is self-contained).I'm glad I found this campground; it's very nice and I plan on going back frequently. For anyone who wants to explore the area, it's a short drive to Durant if you need non-camping activity. From the number of fishermen I saw, I have to guess the fishing is pretty good.
