We come here every year with a group of 40 or so people. The campground was clean as usual, and the restrooms were always in good condition. The locals have been dumping stray dogs, and the authorities need to do something about that!

Nice small park. Clean restrooms. A little highway road noise but not excessive. Our campsite #8 had 2 iron stakes sticking up from the ground which need to be cut off. Notified a volunteer. Hopefully it will be taken care of. This was our second time there and probably go again.

Was an excellent experience! Beautiful clean park! Well maintained and reasonably priced! RV spots are level and easy to get in touch! Definitely looking forward to moving our reunion here next summer!

Site #7 has a great lake view. Not much of a yard. Very steep grade to get down to the water. The rear site(#6) is basically right on top of you. We had nice neighbors so not a big deal for us.

We showed up around 7:15pm after driving 8 hours to find someone had set up camp in the site we had reserved. Could have been an honest mistake, except there were no attendants around to find out what we should do next. We were too exhausted to argue with the other camper, so we picked a site nearby and prayed no one would show up wanting their spot. It was nerve-wracking. In the morning, we couldnt find the water hook-up for the site. The campground itself was really nice with a gorgeous lake view and plenty of space between sites. Unfortunately we wont be back because why reserve and pay for a site ahead of time if its not guaranteed?

The campground was beautiful and quiet. We had gorgeous views. Wish there had been more trash cans throughout- but thats a minor piece of feedback.

Always one of my favorite camps to stay! Close to boat ramp and convenient to stores!

Johnson Creek is a mature wooded campground with widely spaced sites. Shared water (so bring an extra hose), good electric, and a large boat ramp with ample parking. Gets a little wild on holiday weekends, but otherwise is very quiet. Good bird watching, great fishing in Texoma, and only 12 miles to WalMart (Durant). Cleanup after the spring flooding is nearly complete, and all sites are reservable. One of my favorites!

Site 15 provided partial shade until mid afternoon. Great sunset views, spotty internet coverage.

Beautiful, well kept COE campground. Beautiful views of the lake. The staff is awesome. Didnt use the bath house. But reports from other people were that they were clean. Ramp available for boaters. Mix of sun and shade at sites. Big rig access.

Stay was ok but very disappointed in the leash rule not being enforced. Dogs running around the site at all hours. My son's girlfriend had a sandal taken by a dog during the night. Also someone had washed their dog in the showers. The shower smelled like a wet dog and black dog hair and dirt was everywhere.

Campground was decent. It is definitely a fishing place but a lot of the sites didn't really have a lot of space for your rv, tow vehicle and a boat. A lot of trees that needed limbs cut. Some sites were a little small.
@RonnyW08168BA2 · Camped on Apr 10, 2025 at Campsite #29
The sites need to be updated for bigger campers. Also the website needs to be updated to warn people that some spots need at least 200ft of water hose to reach the water hydrant

Site was great. All convenient, shower was clean. Only problem was rotted branchs hanging over camper. Some were broken and stuck in tree.

Very nice park. We were there over Christmas so there were only 2 campers beside us. Didn't use the facilities, so no review of the bath house. Had water and electric and good T-Mobile service. My site was in the J-Loop which is fairly close to the highway. Of course it was over Christmas so not bad, but could get a lot of road noise during normal camping season. J-Loop is nice and shaded for the hot Oklahoma summers.

Nice park, but close to the highway. Some sites require a very long water hose such as site 18 or arrive with a full fresh water tank. The sites share a water outlet requiring 40 plus feet of hose. The website should have a note about the water. Site 18 requires about 100 feet of hose. Several sites have covered picnic tables.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
