I enjoyed my lakeside view. Easy access to the trash and dump station. No attendant in the gatehouse but hosts available nearby. Water hookup is shared with neighbor so be sure to have a long hose or spare to connect.

Johnson Creek is an excellent campground. Zero issues on this trip. Everything was clean and well kept. Restroom/showers very clean. Fishing from shore was good. 14 local TV channels available on the antenna TV and AT&T was full strength. We ran our smart TV streaming from our cellular hotspot with no issues. We will be back.

Great campground! Clean and well kept bathrooms. Only negative was only 4 bathrooms/showers for the entire campground.

!. When I got there, I soon became aware there wasn't a single sign with directions to the numbered sites. I drove all around looking for mine. 2. Pictures don't really give you the whole looks of the site. Mine looked like it was down in a hollow, and it didn't help to see the pad was covered in ankle deep or deeper leaves. Needless to say I found a wonderful site and it had a parking spot next to the pad. I could easily park my trailer and have access to my motorcycle. Friendly staff. If only for that N wind.

Johnson Creek has been our favorite place to camp for the last 5 years. But the last couple of times we've gone we've noticed how run down it's gotten which is sad to us because I think its time to find a new place. Grass/weeds up to our calves and ant piles hiding in them. Can't throw away our trash because its too full and leaves everywhere you can't walk without slipping. It's really disappointing how run down its gotten. The last time we went there were dead dear carcass not far from our campsite we couldn't handle the smell so the camp host handed us a shovel and said we can do it ourselves. Tried a different camp spot on the other side of the campsite the very next weekend and the smell from the garbage being overfilled was just to much.

Very nice campground. Beautiful views of the lake. Sites are level and clean. Quiet. Lots of birds. Verizon is fair.

The space we were at needs to be repaved/ repaired. Hazard lowering the steps from our camper. Other than that all good.Ty

I found this location good for camping. However, the highway noise is annoying. The asphalt parking is fairly good but a bit unlevel. A travel trailer will require quite a bit of spacers to make it possible to level. The rest rooms were not open; I assume it was closed for the winter. The water was off as expected.

Beautiful campground, well maintained, beautiful view. But lots of mud on some of camper pads, probably due to heavy rain.

Stickers everywhere, grass needs mowing as it doesnt look like it was mowed near the end of mowing season, camp host doesnt make sure others follow rules like dogs on leash (and they looked right at the dog and drove on), numerous sites reserved but reservations not cancelled.

One of the nicer camps on Texoma. Mature trees for shade in summer. On the hill for breezes to keep bugs away. Easy access via Hwy.70 to Kingston and Durant. Excellent maintenance and landscaping. Large boat launch. Good asortment of birds and wildlife along the shores. Good distance between sites.

This is a good site right next to the boat ramp and up high on a hill. Water spigot is about 40' away so plan accordingly. The water pressure was 110 psi so bring a regulator. We came late in the season and it was not crowded at all. Only negative was the grass was tall and stickers everywhere around this site.

We come here every year with a group of 40 or so people. The campground was clean as usual, and the restrooms were always in good condition. The locals have been dumping stray dogs, and the authorities need to do something about that!

Nice small park. Clean restrooms. A little highway road noise but not excessive. Our campsite #8 had 2 iron stakes sticking up from the ground which need to be cut off. Notified a volunteer. Hopefully it will be taken care of. This was our second time there and probably go again.

Easy to get in to but was so unlevel that the auto-leveling system on our 5th wheel just gave up. Good access to the water though

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
