Still a major problem of people staying without paying trashing out the park, corps need a sign in front at the gate, must have a paid reservation BEFORE setting up camp. They are being aloud to ruin camping for others, things tend to disappear from the camps around them. Rangers are aware their there and do nothing, anyone with a phone can bring up Rec.gov and see they are in a open spot that they have not paid. Paying customers watch them drive by and do nothing.

WBR E section is amazing! No complaints at all about the camp grounds, employees or spots. I have to make a bad review about a huge Asian population doing massive fishing on the amazing beach areas. When I say massive, they had 15 fishing poles and set them up right in front of me. I was the ONlY person on the beach, me and my dog. I was outraged to find out they CAN do this! I want them to fish, but not where kids, animals and adults want to enjoy the beach and not worry about running into a fish hooks. This may not be the proper place to leave a review, but I would love to see something done about this! After talking to other campers, this happens often, and it is a problem!

There are several spots in d and e that could use more gravel or blade in to be more level. I had to block my Rv up 6 inches on one side to be half way level on e-15

Gate attendants were so nice and friendly!! Campsite was clean at arrival. Lake is beautiful and refreshing to swim in.

The spot we had was a perfect location. But over the years this campground has become a spot for to many drunks... People park wherever they want and absolutely no inforcement of loud obnoxious behavior, by park rangers. Actually had someone take the sodas out of my outside fridge and a lighter off the table while we slept one night... probably won't stay here again....

Very nice park within an hour, hour-and-a-half, of northern Dallas. Park was very clean and all campsites are well protected by trees. Everyone was friendly and check-in was simple.

The camp site it not even close to being level. I had to back up on 5 2X6's with the trailer and the truck just to get the trailer close to level and then the steps were way to high to easily get in the trailer. Beach was litered with trash and broken glass.

A beautiful park for an overnight stop. Not as quiet as we'd like, but to be expected on a weekend near large cities.
