As usual, the sites were clean. Grass could have been mowed but it wasn't too bad. We were disappointed that the gate was not locked at night. I realize the gate employees were gone but we would have felt safer if the rangers or the employee still on site could have locked the gate at night and unlocked it in the morning.We love camping at Burns Run East.

We stayed here on our first stop out of Kansas in the middle of April. Concrete pads were at every site and were pretty level. Only one camping area was open as the other was being updated and concrete pads being replaced. It had a few trees and we were fortunate to get a site with a tree as the sun can be very intense down here. There was a bath house with four individual rooms, each containing toilet, sink and shower.

Great RV park. We love the full hookups, large patios and covered picnic tables.

The full hookup sites are spacious. There were a lot of folks there because of the holiday. The area seemed to be very well kept. Will be staying there again latter this year.
