Burns Run East Campground in Bryan County is located just 20 min north of Sherman, TX with an elevation of 661 feet. There are a total of 48 campsites. The campground is open all year. 47 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 40 and 95 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 47 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $26.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets.

We've stayed at Burns Run East several times now. It's always been a good time. The grounds are kept wonderfully. Bathrooms and shower areas are clean and well stocked. Its wonderful that there are still places like this for families to go and enjoy the outdoors. Keep up the good work, we will be back!

** Warning ** about people opening your black tank valve for no reason, but thinking its funny. Find a way to lock up the lever. The park was very clean and furnished nicely with Covered Picnic table, charcoal grill and steel table to put your griddle or burner on. Little noisy being close to the boat launch. Unfortunately we had a jet boat and an airboat going out that woke us up pretty early. Its a shame that the little incident ruined our final day.

If 14 days is the limit for your stay in the park then Im wondering why there are a number of campers that are there for longer periods. No one seems to have an answer for this

Watch out for black and yellow hornets in the trees. They got me good. Other than that, a clean, beautiful park.

We always enjoy Burns Run East. We had too much wind off the lake but you probably cant fix that. The camp hosts are friendly/helpful folks and the utilities work as expected. We love our view from site 38.

East Burns Run is one of the best Camp/RV parks. It is kept clean, grass mowed, has concrete pads to park your RV on. Has large trash bins located not to far from your camp site. Nice boat ramps. Just a great place to bring your family.

Planned to stay three nights, however a worker clearing a tree with a backhoe destroyed the electric box to the campground so I left after two nights. The site was clean and well maintained. I wish there was a way to get a refund for the third night, but contact with a real person seems to be difficult on Rec.gov. No problem canceling a reservation, but refunds dont seem to matter.
