Very nice park! The staff very friendly and helpful! The park was mowed and did not have the sticker burrs or ant problems many of the other COEs have! Bathrooms were kept clean. Our site was perfect with shade and level! Will definitely recommend it to others and return ourselves when we are in the area.

We have camped at Burns Run E two times. The campground is clean and well kept. Bathrooms and showers are clean and well kept. The staff is friendly . The kiddos ride their bikes around to meet other kids. Weve had a good experience with the campers around us. Always friendly. The place is quite but not so quite that you cant have fun! They are not strict on parking either. We have been able to park our camper, boat, jet ski, and cars parked in our area. Very spacious. I love easy access to the water! I love how I can see my feet in the water! We set up our Lilly pad, water trampoline ect. No issues. The ONLY thing that I wouldnt do again is stay at spot 39. The insects and raccoons reside in the brush . Lots of shade though. If you do stay here keep your pet food ect locked up because they will come and they will take it. LOL entertaining however I will avoid that spot . The black ants followed us home. Our first trip we spot hopped . We were late booking but it worked out. We didnt mind moving around it gave us the opportunity to try different areas . We have chosen our favorite area! Go choose yours! PS pet friendly and you can set your dog yard up. Close and easy access to boat ramp! Fishing is excellent and a fun experience. Please wear your life jacket !!!!

We stayed in Site # 39 for 5 nights. Sites in this loop were all cement, extra wide with a very large patio. Picnic table was covered and sites were all full hook up in our area. Lots of space between sites and the site included a fire ring (we got very good firewood from the Lone Star/Casey's gas station right off the Interstate). Easy access to get into Denison, with lots of options for shopping and dining. We were told there were several wineries downtown, but didn't make it there this trip. Park was very quiet (even though it was full most of the time). The staff at the fee booth were very friendly and answered all our questions about the lake and dam. We will stay here again the next time we are passing through the area.

We use this park often; we have great views of the lake from any site. This time we stayed at an older full hook-up site but the non-sewer sites have been upgraded with new level concrete pads and new metal equipment - tables and covering "sheds", grills, etc.

The campsites were all brand-new, level, and clean. Maybe a little too cleared out--I wish they would have left a few more trees around. Our site layout was fairly spacious--normal for a COE--but it was backward in relation to the lake. When we sat at the picnic table, the motorhome blocked our view of the lake. That was a trivial issue, though. Other campers were mostly quiet (it was a weekday) and didn't have too much outdoor lighting to destroy our appreciation of the outdoor darkness.
We had no problems with water, sewer or electric.

THE GATE KEEPER HAS A HARSH ATTITUDE AND IT REFLEST BY THE # OF EMPTY SPACES IN THE PARK. WE HAVE BEEN COMIMG HERE FOR YEARS AND HAVE NEVER SEEN IT LIKE THAT. IT MAY BE BECAUSE OF HIM.

It is my favorite camp ground on lake TEXOMA. The sites are not stacked on each other which gives you plenty of space. Even full, it isn't crowded
