I received an email that the camp was closed due to power failure and tree damage. Never got any information as to a refund.

Aspen 3 internet was weak and no service at times. July 4th weekend and packed of course, the neighbors had number of vehicles and people over the limit but this doesnt seem to be monitored or checked by the park rangers. Very loud neighbors with young children screaming and dogs barking constantly. Definitely will avoid holiday weekends in the future. Oak loop has been closed all summer, it would have been appreciated to have information available on recreation.gov website

Thankfully for me there are two Recreation.gov campgrounds within and hour each way from my house. The campground I recently visited was well kept. The grass was all mowed and trimmed, the restrooms clean and no litter was to be found.
