We always enjoy this campground, it's clean and well taken care of. It is one of our all time favorites. However I am not sure I agree with policy of booking only 14 days out of 30. We are retired and wanted to stay longer during the week when it is barely used and we had to leave, so instead of making money during low attendance days those campsites sit empty and we spend our money somewhere else.

We LOVE camping downstream at Garrison!. We meet family there and have a great couple days visiting, enjoying dinner and cocktails in the evening, walks, games and just relaxing. The park is always clean, the bathrooms are wonderful, a place for the kids to blow off steam and we can bring our dog :) Every time we have stayed in summer and fall its been very pleasant. There was only one time that was bad. It was 2 years ago and a horrible storm had hit the area and other campgrounds. The temperature and humidity was super high the day of the storm and the mosquitoes were in a frenzy, so bad we stayed inside the motor home and watched a movie. That night was very frightening, but there wasnt as much damage and I only imagined. Thank you for keeping a wonderful campground for all to use
