As always we really enjoyed our week stay at Bandits Roost. The grounds are well maintained, the hosts are super friendly and enjoy talking with you.

I do not feel as safe at this campground as before because of the entry gate being broken. or this is what they keep telling me. I'm not sure I believe this story because of how long it has been broken. as it is now any vehicle can just drive into the campground any hours of the night. I have talked to other campers and many feel the same way. Is it because they don't pay the gate workers anymore?? Major concerned frequent visitor.

Bandit Roost sit's in the middle of some of the best Mt bike trails in the state , on the best point on a lake with good fishing and a campground that is just rustic enough to make it a little adventure

We always enjoy our time at Bandits. This trip we were disappointed to see the gate not working and leaving open access for anyone to access the park. The attendant station is of very little help if you need anything outside of the short time they man the gate. The ice ran out so we had to go out of the park and to the gas station to get ice for going out on the boat. Also the marina was only open a couple days so had to pull the boats out when needing gas. This was 4th of July week so little suprised.

Great campground if you can get one of the sites with a water view. Very reasonable cost, and a great base for seeing the mountains.

Bath house on A side has not been updated in the last 45 years. How do I know this. Because I have been camping here that long. It's a shame. Now B side is in need of attention.

Beautiful campground. It would be perfect if there were sewage available. Quiet and clean. Bathrooms could use a little updating. Love it!

bath houses are in need of updating A side showers are way to small and have not been redone in 30years, B side not much better. sites need new gravels. some are just mud. need more walk up sites. locals don't have a chance at getting a site. always full.
