I've always loved this place because you can see the lake and it's a beautiful place but in the past couple of years, they have been running down some. I wish they would cut down all the overgrown grass and weeds and try to kill out all the poison oak'

Nice clean park and lake the one thing for us older people that like to fish we need a rail on the boat dock so we can get in and out of our boats. We try to keep and leave parks clean wish the corp would help us on this at all there parks.

Campground had no attendants. Park Ranger asked us at gate for our last name and site number, gave us a gate code without checking ID. (I already had gate code.) There were numerous park rangers circling campground daily. At the campsite across from us, there were visits by the sheriff's office on two days and one of those days there were 2 deputies and 3 park rangers! It did not make us feel safe at all. Most of the week that RV appeared to have no one there. Pet stations were eliminated last year and there are many campers who no longer clean up after their pets. Park rangers told us that there would not be attendants there except limited times and these folks are now volunteers! We have several reservations for this season and this has always been a favorite campground for us, but we are disappointed with the changes we see. We are concerned with the policy of issuing gate codes before arrival and how easily these codes can -- and most likely will be -- shared with outsiders who are not registered campers. I believe this somewhat jeopardizes our safety. Campground is still a lovely place to visit.

The park was very clean and peaceful. Only issue was our lot had no shade and was not very leveled, so hard to set up the travel trailer.

The Gentleman at the Gatehouse Named Marvin was so polite and helpful one of the best we came in contact with in our many years of camping.
