My husband and I always have a great experience at Bandit's Roost. The camp hosts always give us a courtesy call to let us know if our site becomes available early; big plus. The campground is very clean, well-kept, and peaceful. If we had any complaint at all, it would be there are only two bathhouses for the entire campground.

Enjoyed the peaceful campground!! The smell of fall in the air!! Dixie donuts was right down the street, delicious!!

For the most part our experience was great. One woman at the checkin shack has a tendency to get nuts if for some reason you get in the wrong lane, but we got that worked out eventually. Just stay in the left lane and she wont go nuts! The Campgound is nice.

First night was awesome. Peaceful and quiet. Then ... arrogant People with yappy dogs entered, an never left. Quiet time does not matter to these people. Otherwise, great campsite and clean bathroom.

Bandits Roost is always a beautiful getaway. However, this time, our site had tons poison ivy surrounding it and our section lost power on Saturday night making sleeping miserable due to no ac. We checked out early Sunday morning instead of staying till late afternoon like we originally planned. Sadly, not our best trip to Bandits Roost.

I checked out The showers and bathrooms, Very clean and sanitary, very happy with our stay, very friendly people and workers the Rv site we stayed were level and clean. Overall excellent!

Loved the campsite and the overall roominess of the campground. Well-designed. HOWEVER, it would be nice if the one and only campground trail going from sites 69-70 to the boatramp (or vice versa) was cleared all the way. Yes, we did go for a very nice hike on the OVT trail, but we also wanted to try the campground trail outlined on the campground map, and both last year and this year it only went for a little distance at both ends and then was impassable. SUGGESTION: we noticed one or two boy scout troops camping at the campground which is great, and we were thinking that clearing the campground trail would be a great project for a group of Eagle Scouts, or even younger more mature scouts.
