50 amp didnt work and camp hosts didnt seem to care.

We really enjoyed our quiet shady spot #60. My grandsons love the swim beach and fishing. Great place for kids to ride their bikes as well. It's a favorite place for us every summer. Highly recommend it!!!

We had a nice site, beautiful area. Need some hooks in bathhouse and drainage in shower needs some improvement. Overall it was a nice trip. Had planned to visit Wilkesboro on a Monday, most locale restaurants were closed on Mondays. Keep that in mind for future visits.

Recently we camped at Bandits Roost and had a wonderful time. Our site was very private, and the campground was very clean. Wilkesboro is close by and has some cool places to eat, but we most just stayed at the campground, grilled out, and enjoyed the view of the reservoir. We did travel to Sparta in Alleghany County one day. It was a nice day trip. We already have another trip scheduled. We love Bandits Roost!

Love the campground. But bathhouse is in need of remodeling. Been camping here for forty years same bathhouse . No updates.

Beautiful view of the reservoir, spacious sites, clean bathhouses. Sites can be hard to locate if you’re unfamiliar with the campground, as there is no directional signage, only the small marker post at each site, and there are loops within loops. But once you get your bearings, it’s easy to navigate. Everything is clean, great amenities include a playground, basketball court, amphitheater, boat launch, and swim beach. Dump stations, trash and recycling, and bathhouses are all conveniently located.
