This campground feels very remote. Quiet; no road noise at all. Loved the rolling terrain. Beautiful sunrise/sunset. Reasonable amount of trails for a lake-themed campground. Stayed in the Buffalo loop. The showerheads could use some attention, as they only provided a mist, not really a shower. But would definitely come back here. Tent Rocks NM is within 2 miles, but be sure to book your access reservation way in advance. We stayed for two weeks, but could not get into Tent Rocks.

The facility is clean, offers bathrooms with showers, picnic tables, grills. Choice of water/electric or just elect and price is so very reasonable. Great views, very quiet.

Great campground. Spacious sites, amazing view, well-maintained, with friendly staff & volunteers. Sites with electricity were booked well in advance.

Bathrooms were in poor condition, toilet stall door broken. One shower had a curtain but did not have a wall mounted shower head, the other shower had no curtain.

Great park for visiting in Santa Fe. Nice large sites. My husband enjoyed the golf course.

Nice quiet campground with level sites. With Senior agency pass was $10 for water and electricity.

Beautiful area and you are within travel distance of Valles Caldera, Madrid, Alb and Santa Fe. Laundromat close to entrance of park...groceries and other amenities much further

We shopped and dined in Santa Fe which is 35 minute drive. After reading reviews we were afraid of using the Juniper loop but if you have water on board and a bathroom, the views were amazing. Site 7, 10 and 15. Those were large enough for our 35 class A and tow with room to spare. 50 amp. Bathroom is closed but they say plans to tear down and rebuild are in the works. Temperatures were perfect for sitting out in the morning and in the evening. Very nice.

it was a very pleasant surprise. Made a reservation on a day of traveling as we changed our planes and decided to stop by Santa Fe. Campground is simply wonderful. Sites are huge, spread out, plenty of space for everyone. Relatively short distance to Santa Fe and the interstate. Gorgerous views of the lake from every site. I have absolutely nothing to complain about.
