Nice, clean, basic campground. I stayed here Mon-Thr, so it was nice and quiet. I booked this site because it has a shelter and is close to the restroom. :) I wish they would put shelters at all the sites. It's very hot out here.

I've stayed in this campground several times from late October through early December and have finally decided to never stay here again. It is a really tough place to exist when tent camping. The wind is relentless, people run generators from 6 AM to 10 PM, and there is no privacy of any sort. All the tent sites are clustered together in a depression in the desert, completely exposed to the elements. The only thing this place has going for it is its proximity to Red Rock Canyon. Maybe my opinion would be different if I owned a $100K van.

Restrict generator use to the RV section of the campground. Camp hosts are the best!

Really great place! The hostess was very kind, very smooth check in. I was a bit worried from the reviews, buy we didnt have any issues with excessive noise or anything. Cars were going in and out frequently at all hours of the night.

Just too much maintenance noises early morning ! Still 8 AM , oven though I understand they wanted to do things early before the heat ! But even truck noise travels through the Canyon !Just wanted to be honest !

Very nice campground with outstanding views. Restrooms are vault style but very nicely maintained. Water spigots are scattered throughout making refilling a jug an easy task. I just wish there was a trash dumpster nearby as I hate leaving food trash in my van overnight. I did find one at the campground exit the next morning but that was actually quite a distance from my campsite.

This is the second time Ive stayed here. The campground and vault toilets are clean. The night sky is dark and amazing, stars and moon shining bright. Hard to believe its only minutes from the lights of Las Vegas. Campground host was friendly. I would stay here again.

We loved our experience at Red Rock Campground. The camp hosts were very friendly and the restrooms were cleaned every morning. Our site was very spacious. Loved the built-in shade cover and cement pad. The surrounding area is very peaceful and the location offers super quick access to the Red Rocks scenic drive. We went to go climbing and it was great. Well be back.

Always enjoy staying here. Quiet , pretty and convenient. Close to calico basin, red rock canyon and hiking trails .

This is a very basic campground. Good place to stay for those who want to excape the hyper of Vegas but still have access to the entertainment of the city.

I was in #43. It was close to the portapotty and the picnic table had a shade rooftop. The center sites did not have picnic table rooftops. There were no views. It was convenient to Red Rock Canyon. There was not service with Verizon.

Campground needs better signage for directions to campsites. We arrived after dark and it was difficult to find our site. Very nice to have shelters at site and pit toilets were very clean.

While this campsite is not that beautiful in and of itself, it’s close to the red rock area that is gorgeous with tons of activity options. Our particular site (43, I think) was nice. Close to water and bathrooms but not disruptive. On the edge so nothing to the back. Nice covered area. We went in January and weather was good.

camp hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. Clean, quiet, and extremely convenient location to both town and the scenic Red Rock Canyon loop drive, with loads of hiking and climbing to explore. Would stay again!

Hosts were very nice. Need to make sure I book a site with a roof over the table or bring a shade tent as it was HOT!
