Be careful making reservations here, a lot of sites are not correct on their descriptions.... says 70' sites on one.. the site is all on the road.. not good. Hikes and park are great!

Nice simple campground. The sites are very close together, but a nice place to drop a camper/RV if you are enjoying the surrounding area.

Bathrooms clean, they did a good job checking out whos who camping but site 11 had rats. The minute it got dark and I kite the campfire they came out. Idk if rats are an issue out at red rock but the two nights I was there there were quite a few out. I know we are in their territory so I get it. Im just sharing With you

Great camping experience. Our site had a tent pad big enough for our two tents, a pavilion with a picnic table, fire pit and grill. The pit toilets were close by and clean, and there were potable water taps throughout the campground. We had a critter chew into our cooler during the day while we were off climbing so dont leave anything food related at your campsite unattended. We left our tents and camping gear at the site while we were away without any issue. We did see a tarantulas at night but it was easy to spot and avoid. 10 out of 10. Would recommend!

I've never seen vault toilets that clean in my many years of camping. It was a very nice experience. The sites had plenty of room so you didn't feel like you were on top of others. Cell coverage there sucked though. We all had verizon and it would go between 1 bar and no signal with most of the time as 1 signal. Made it for an amazing time to disconnect.

Nice campsites with shade structure, bbq, fire pit with benches.Oh also nice sand pad for tents. The camp hosts were very nice and the bathrooms were very well kept. Great location about a minute away from red rock canyon.

This is definitely one of the nicer campgrounds I've been to! I really appreciated that there was a sun shelter provided and even though the bathrooms were vault toilets they were exceptionally clean.

Awesome campground, just outside of Las Vegas! The hosts are super friendly, and the washrooms are very clean (no flush, but there's a tap outside). The sites are basic, but are very spacious and the picnic tables are covered to protect from the desert sun.Great desert camping experience!

Generally a very well-run campground.

Clean bathrooms, well-spaced campsites, quiet on a Friday night, lovely scenery, and close the scenic drive (reserved separately). Nice sandy pads for tents.

The campground has nice sized sites, sun shelters at every spot and on site hosts. The bathrooms were clean. No showers, no hook ups. For being so close to Las Vegas it felt wonderfully isolated. The only downside was the poor signage - the road you turn onto, to get into the campground, is only labeled BLM Fire Station. And, the Red Rock Scenic Drive loop is another two miles down the road, here were signs for that. Just be careful and drive slowly or you may find yourself trying to turn your RV around on a two lane road.

Perfect place to discover the Red Rock Canyon. We hiked "Turtlehead trail" - amazing views for experienced hikers - "South oak creek" - made it in a loop, gorgious- and "Guardian Angel" - fantastic scrambeling.Stuff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Very nice well maintained campground. Clean toilets. The benches and fire pits were a pleasant surprise. Side note. If youre worried about cell reception while camping just stay home. Youre missing the point of the outdoors.

The biggest problem with this campground is that it can get some strong winds. With 30 to 50 mph wind gust that are hard on a tent.

It was really beautiful and peaceful the space between each site was a nice distance. Our dogs loved it. Leashes are required at all times some people didnt follow that and there dog almost attacked mine so be careful

I really love Red Rock Canyon campground. The camp host was super friendly and got be check in really quick. I am amazed that one can feel so secluded just minutes from the Las Vegas strip. The camp site was clean and well spaced between neighbors. The restrooms were pit / outhouse style but well kept.Definitely will use this campground again as a staging point while passing through to Utah or Arizona.

Red Rock Canyon Campground is a lovely place with sites spaced far enough apart that one doesn’t feel crowded. Only negative is that we had trouble navigating the grounds to find our site. The numbers doesn’t seem logical.
Clean restrooms and grounds and friendly hosts.
