It was a place I knew I could count on sleeping at for the night.

An overall nice campground with very clean vault toilets and pleasant camp hosts. Sites along the upper two sections (sites #30+) are more on a slope and are difficult for RVs to access and level. Sites 1-20 are more level and many have shade structures.Waste dumpsters are located at the entrance to the campground itself and can be quite a ways away from your campsite. Bring a water carry container as the only water is at the sparsely located toilets.

Hosts Barbara and Dennis are so helpful and nice, especially considering this is an extremely high column campground. If you are seeking peace and quiet, do not camp there on weekends, as it is party central, with lots of drunks and stoners. Week days, though, can be fairly calm. Not the prettiest campground, dirt and gravel road kicks up a lot of dust. But, it is very close to town, for shopping. Be advised, cell service is almost zero.

This felt more like a prison camp, than anything. It sits in a bowl near the Red Rock Conservation Area, so the views from the campground suck. The campground services are limited (no dump station, no filling your RV with water, no trash pickup, other than a roll-off outside the campground), and there are oppressive regulatory signs EVERYWHERE telling you what you can't do, and BLM "officials" menacingly patrol the area in pickups to harass paying campers.

Great camp hosts, close to hiking as well as restaurants and stores. Wish it had better cell service—weak at best.

We liked nicely spread out sites, other campers were super polite and camp hosts were attentive.

Quiet place, near a very beautiful one-way road perfect for biking. Beautiful hiking trails too.
