Great time at camp ground. Only negative is that you cant steak down your tent, ground is extremely hard.

The campground is well maintained and patrolled often. The pit toilets were clean and well stocked. Each site has a picnic table, bbq grill, fire pit, and tent pad. Some have shade canopies over the tables. Beautiful views and nice camp hosts. We didn't hike the Red Rock but instead spent a day exploring Valley of Fire State Park, about an hour away. It was a great weekend. Except for some wind, we had really nice weather for February.

Site number 50 is the worst site in the campground. It is not flat and does not have parking spaces or a covered shelter.
You have to park literally on the side of the road.

It was nice to have a reserved campsite located so close to the rest of the recreation area.

Always love this campground. However, the 2 vehicle but 10 people restriction is ridiculous- 3 (or 4 compact) vehicles should be allowed, while 10 people is reasonable. Not sure why this campground assumes 2 families of 5 is standard, and doesnt allow overflow parking anywhere
