Hosts both Lee and Jessie were excellent! The sites were large and the campground mostly quiet. Only drawback was really no cell service. We have Verizon. Didnt use the bath house but did a peek. They were clean but definitely could use some updating. Would camp there again if in the area.

The boat dock is very nice. The washrooms super close to our tent site and relatively clean (not the cleanest I've seen in terms of shower stalls). A lot of spiders, like 30-40 counted at night. Found a cute frog while showering lol. When I was there the 2nd time, burn ban was in effect :( even though it just rained that morning.

The camp hosts spent nearly the entire day on a Saturday using a noisy leaf blower. This is something that could be done on a week day! Quiet hours are NOT enforced at all. People were having a very loud karaoke party til nearly 2am!If not for those complaints, I would have treated it closer to a 4. The fire pits are a bit too deep and not useful for cooking.

Camping sites were well spaced from each other and very clean. We parked in the Sycamore unit, close to the boat ramp and lake access. There were 2 restrooms in this section, both were very clean and well stocked with tt paper and hand soap. Showers were also clean and mildew free, the hot water was excellent. We felt the tables were a bit far from our camper. We were camping with another couple, so shared the table and fire pit that was in the middle of our spaces. Park hosts were excellent and came by several times a day to see if we needed anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will be back again.

Why would anybody schedule burning under brush the day before Easter weekend. The smoke covered the camp grounds area. We smelled like smoke , the RV smelled like smoke. So not a good time.

We spent 3 nights in sites 22 and 24 and had a great time. This was our second time at Cagle and we'll definitely come back. The bike and hike trails around the campgrounds were great for my 10 year old and my 8 year old. We didn't do any fishing this time around but the dock and boat ramp area seemed to be well taken care of. I usually avoid using public showers but I was pleasantly surprised at how great the water pressure was and the hot water was great. Most campers around us were in RVs and trailers so at night, they all went inside and it was really quiet as we sat around our firepit. We were in tents so we only went inside when it was time to sleep.

The park was beautiful and the park hosts were friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this park.
