The park itself is very nice! The bathrooms are in need of some TLC. Our campsite was on the outer perimeter, and the sites are extremely low in the back/high close to the road making it difficult to level the camper. We had no cell service and had to leave the park to communicate with nearby friends that we were meeting throughout our stay.

Great campsite, clean bathrooms, nice hiking trails near by. Appreciate can go for just one night too and not required to book two nights like the state parks.

Site number 5 is very steep and you will find yourself climbing back up to your RV.

Nice park, I liked that the camping area had plenty of space. Bathrooms were average. Could use some upgrades.

Great area, and loved it! The only problem is there is no cell reception and thus no internet. If we had a connection, we would return every year.

Very nice wooded park, site have plenty of space between them. Water access via boat ramp convenient. The water level is pretty low, but it now has a some exposed sand to place a chair and chill or walk on.

This was our first trip with our new RV so it was a shake out for all the new equipment. We were in site 007. The campgrounds were well kept. We did not have a reason to use the camps restroom facilities, so can't comment on them. 3 other couples that we knew were at the camp so we had community dinners and movie nights and helpful hints on the setup and use of the RV. All was good.The lack of WIFI posed some issues with our equipment so that was not a highlight.Overall we enjoyed the time and the learnings.KD & D

It was me and my husbands first time camping together and Cagles recreation area was a perfect fit for us. The grounds were very clean and the bathhouses had hot water for showers. We felt secluded enough away from other visitors, but all the neighbors were very kind. The staff we talked with during our stay were also very friendly and polite. On our last day, we even saw two bald eagles! Thanks and well be back!

Very nice campground not our first stay there. The permanent resident hosts leave a cheap RV park taste in ypur mouth. Way too much junk and clutter. Very nice folks but .

We got to the park with our new 5th wheel and truck. We had never hooked or unhooked the trailer before as this was our first 5th wheel and the park host was right there to help us out! We were thankful for his expertise! The park is quiet, peaceful, had nice sites and trails. It was very clean and the other guests were friendly and cordial. We will be back to visit!

I've been visiting Cagle Recreation area for over 15 years. It remains my favorite National Forest campground. Always clean and well kept. The host stopped by to introduce himself and tell us his site number if we need anything.

Cagle exceeded our expectations. Campsites are large and well maintained. A very nice CCE campground.
