I rented campsite 005 in the lower loop. I didnt see any mention of this in the site description, but you cant get your vehicle completely down to the campsite like most sites there. The picture is incorrect too, its showing a different site. From where you park your vehicle, you have to walk a path 100-150 feet over uneven, rocky ground to get to the actual campsite. Not a huge problem, but I would have picked a different site had I known this. It would have been a lot easier to unload and load my vehicle if I hadnt had to make so many trips back-and-forth. Great view of the lake though and the bathroom/shower house and trash can were right across the road from the site.

I hardly got any sleep. Someone in the next site ran a generator all night and said they were told by the person they made the reservation with that it was ok to run it all night. When they did turn it off during the day the whole campground cheered! Then it was back on at night!!

I enjoy trying to find new places to explore and camp. I loved my stay here. Brought my 7yo son with. We both had a great time. We brought our canoe and fished, enjoying all coastline the lake had to offer. Being offseason, it wasnt crowded. The camp host Crystal was very friendly and made us feel at home. Bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely be coming back.

Overall the stay was great,no one bothered us or our belongings and easy access to the forest. Unfortunately the site #5 was not as pictured on the website, the shower water Was pretty cold ,had to do a jump in and out to soap up/ rinse and the light in the male toilet room was out. Other than that great views day or night!!

A beautiful place to camp. Easy access sites with clean restrooms and showers. Also has potable water. Enjoy the lake and scenery with hiking trails and boating and fishing.

Very clean campground and campsites. Camp host was very friendly. Lots to do nearby, campground hiking trails are easy and good for families with kids. Feels kind of like being in the mountains. If you're planning on staying in this area, this is the best campground to stay at in my opinion.
